Mandy Morneault
It was
love at first pose. From an early age, Mandy acted on her
intuition that physical activity was a potent means of
working through emotional challenges. It’s no surprise that
she immediately fell in love with yoga’s graceful dance of
the breath and body when she first rolled out a mat in 2001.
The sweetness of yoga deepened through a decade of studying
Tantric Hatha yoga, and its ancient wisdom was embodied as
Mandy used her practice as a tool to support healing
injuries, navigating difficult emotions and embracing life
changes.
Mandy gained a 200-hr RYT certification with 8 Limbs Yoga
Centers in Seattle, Washington in 2008, and began teaching
from the moment her training began in 2007. She has since
had the good fortune to share the teachings of many
present-day yogis with students in Seattle, and is most
influenced by the innovations on the sacred teachings
provided Western yoga masters Rod Stryker, Tias Little and
Sarah Powers.
Mandy develops yoga classes that systematically touch the
physical, mental, emotional, energetic and spiritual
dimensions of the human experience to support healing and
integration. She uses asanas creatively to enhance awakening
the subtle layers of being, and weaves in traditional
Tantric imagery, mantra, and meditation. Through the
practice of opening the body and mind with these tools,
Mandy aims to provide practitioners space to awaken to their
vibrant stillness.
Mandy is an encouraging, supportive instructor focused on
supporting the health and wellness of individuals. She
fosters a calm environment with interesting, exciting
sequences that challenge and relax practitioners.
