Taffy Frost
Taffy's classes blend skillful and intelligent alignment
with a deeper awareness that the ‘real’ yoga is a practice
of inner knowing and reconnection with light, self and
spirit. Instructing with clarity and humor, she encourages
her students to explore their practices, to investigate
perceived limitations with an open heart and a beginner’s
mind that welcomes what is. She also believes in having fun,
bringing lightness, joy and laughter to the class and into
our lives. Taffy creates a class and an atmosphere that is
welcoming, compassionate, fun, challenging and grounding.
Taffy
is the owner and director of The Yoga Tree, and an
enthusiastic teacher and student of yoga. She trained and
apprenticed extensively with Aadil Palkhivala in the early
90’s, and later completed a 5-year Teacher Training program
with her beloved teacher and fellow cowgirl Dona Holleman.
She has also been inspired and influenced by Donna Farhi,
another cowgirl yogi, who taught her the fine art of paying
attention. She is eternally grateful to these teachers who
have shared freely their wisdom, knowledge and love.
